Brahma Kumaris is a spiritual organization predominantly administered by women, has been imparting spiritual and ethical values in India and over 100 countries for more than 80 years. Recognized as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) by the United Nations with general consultative status on the roster of the UN Economic and Social Council/UNICEF, the institution operates from three large complexes in Mt. Abu and Abu Road. These include the International Headquarters (Pandav Bhawan), the Academy for a Better World (Gyan Sarovar) near Mt. Abu, and the Shantivan Campus at Abu Road, capable of accommodating up to 25,000 people for residential meditational retreats. Shantivan boasts one of India’s mega kitchens, capable of cooking for 50,000 people in two hours, and hosts sister organizations with two main hospitals in the area.

Initially focused on values and spirituality education since its establishment in 1937, the University expanded its scope to include renewable energy. Under World Renewal Spiritual Trust, WRST emerged as a key player globally in solar institutional cooking systems and various solar Photovoltaic and thermal applications. With a team of experts working in solar thermal energy applications for 15 to 20 years, WRST is well-positioned to execute the proposed biogas project successfully. The institute handles project design, installation, and commissioning independently, leveraging its expertise for a strong market presence and collaborations with industrial partners to address related requirements.
